A Unified Bid is requested for all work in this project, including General, Mechanical, and Electrical Construction work for the IN202 Health Information and Translational Sciences (HITS) Building – Roof Replacement at Indiana University Indianapolis. Bidders must submit their bids electronically via the specified platform and must be registered and signed in to do so. Each bid must be accompanied by a completed Minority, Women’s and Veteran’s Business Enterprise Participation Plan, a bid security for 5% of the total bid, and the contractor's written drug testing program in compliance with IC 4-13-18. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities. Bids may be considered incomplete without the required documentation. The Base Bid may be held for up to sixty days before awarding Contracts, and all Alternate Bids for up to ninety days before possible contract incorporation. Should a successful bidder withdraw their bid or fail to execute a satisfactory contract within ten days after notice of acceptance, the Owner may declare the Bid Security forfeited as liquidated damages, not as a penalty. All interested bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting at the specified date and location.
