Work to be performed is for the reseal of the apron and T-hangar taxiway at the Allen County Airport including pavement marking removal, asphalt crack sealing, asphalt seal coat, pavement markings, and necessary incidentals to complete the work as detailed on the contract drawings and specified in the contract documents. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and material necessary to complete the work. All work is located at the Allen County Airport, 700 Airport Drive, Lima, OH 45802. Instructions to bidders: Bids must be properly executed and addressed to the specified address, along with the documents required by the bid forms, specifications, and legal documents in the contract documents. Each bid must include a bid bond or certified check of 10% of the total bid. Performance and Payment Bonds each at 100% of the contract price are required. Bidders must be plan holders of record, having obtained the contract documents through the office of the Engineer. Each bid must be accompanied by the bidder's financial statement, a statement of experience, proposed plans for performing the work, and available equipment. Bids must supply all information required by the bid/proposal form. Wage rates must be at least the prescribed scale per the latest U.S. Department of Labor wage rate decision.
