The work consists of the removal of portions of the existing process piping in the Water Treatment Plant, installation of new ductile iron drain line, two flow meters, combination air/vacuum release valve, installation of a chlorine analyzer, installation of double wall chemical storage tanks, and installation of a duplex chemical feed pump system with two peristaltic metering pumps. Attendance at the prebid meeting is not mandatory but highly recommended. Center Township is located approximately 50 miles east of the City of Pittsburgh in the central portion of Indiana County. If any person contemplating submitting a Proposal is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Drawings, Specifications or other Contract Documents, or finds discrepancies in or omissions from the Drawings or Specifications, he may submit to the Engineer a written request for an interpretation or correction thereof.
