The project consists of on-call tree management services within Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District Service Areas and the unincorporated areas of Alameda County. Work includes tree trimming, tree removal, tree stump grinding or treatment on an as-needed basis, year-round. This includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, mechanical workmanship, transportation and services, mobilization and traffic control, and all miscellaneous work necessary to complete the project. The work is subject to all Local, State, and Federal laws, rules, and guidelines as outlined in the plans and specifications, including payment of prevailing wages. Contractors must be properly licensed with a C-27 or C-61(D-49) license at the time of bid submission and throughout the contract. All bidders must comply with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) In-Use Off-Road Diesel-Fueled Fleets Regulation and submit valid Certificates of Reported Compliance for applicable fleets and listed subcontractors. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids and any or all items of such bids. Bid proposals from prime contractors that fail to attend the mandatory pre-bid networking/contractor conference will be rejected. The Agency strongly encourages the participation of disadvantaged/minority/women-owned business enterprises and the hiring of apprentices who reside within Alameda County.
