The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and appurtenances necessary to complete the work as described on the drawings. The intent of these contract documents, specifications, drawings, and appendix are to provide the Contractor a description of the proposed work. Install new 6" water service and distribution piping and building with internal plumbing. Each bid must include a certified check or bid bond for at least five percent of the total bid, payable to the City Treasurer, as security. No bid can be withdrawn for sixty days after opening without consent. Bidders not already on the approved list must submit the Plan Holders Submittal Form as directed. The successful bidder must furnish a Maintenance Bond for the full contract amount within ten days of award. Time is of the essence, and evaluation will include review of prior contract completion timelines, existing workload, and available manpower.
