Martin County Fiscal Court is seeking bids for roadside mowing assistance of Martin County roads. Work consists of roadside mowing along all Martin County Roads: grass mowing and overbrush removal, 6-8 feet off of blacktop along approximately 133.22 miles of roadway, with the assistance of the Martin County Road and Bridge. Length of contract for mowing shall be for two periods: a first cut to take place starting May 1st until complete, and a second cut to take place starting September 2nd until complete. A full copy of the Bid Package and specifications will be available at the office of the County Judge/Executive during normal business hours. All submissions must be received by 12:00 PM on March 19th 2026 in a sealed envelope and must be clearly marked: “Roadside Mowing”. The county has the right to select the lowest and/or best quote that is in the best interest of the County. Bids that are in substantial compliance with the advertisement shall be considered, and Martin County has the right to reject any and/or all bids. All bids should be submitted to Martin County Fiscal Court “Roadside Mowing Bid” PO BOX 309 Inez, KY 41224 or in person at 42 E Main Street Inez, KY 41224.
