Habersham County is seeking proposals from qualified contractors who specialize in the resurfacing/refinishing of pool interiors for the Ruby C. Fulbright Aquatic Center. The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, and tools required to complete the project. No inquiries or interpretation of meaning concerning this Request for Proposal will be made to any interested party orally. Every inquiry or request for interpretation should be made in writing via e-mail. All inquiries and requests for interpretation should be sent via e-mail to purchasing@habershamga.com Question Deadline 03/13/2026 at 2:00 PM ET Bid date notes: All proposals submitted should be clearly marked on the envelope or package Habersham County Purchasing-Finance Department, Pool Interior Resurfacing. Habersham County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to wave minor informalities, modify or re-advertise. Habersham County is seeking proposals from qualified contractors who specialize in the resurfacing/refinishing of pool interiors at the Ruby C. Fulbright Aquatic Center. The Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, and tools required to complete the project. It is our goal to have work start immediately after the project is awarded to achieve a completion date of April 17, 2026. Please include 2 proposals, one including emptying and refilling the pools, and one without emptying and refilling the pools. 1. Remove and replace existing finish in two (2) pools with “Marcite” or equivalent. a. Fitness Pool: Capacity: 177,188 gallons b. Recreation Pool: Capacity: 67,500 gallons 2. Replace markings and boundaries. 3. Install new ladders and handrails. 4. Replace all hardware and accessories. 5. Inspect and repair drain system as needed. 6. Bidder must provide a full breakdown of costs including setup, construction, material, and cleanup costs. 7. Provide detailed drawing for proposed design. 8. Build an expected timeline for the completion of the work to include lead times for supplies, preparatory work, installation, and final steps before completion. 9. If Habersham County will need to prepare or purchase any materials ahead of time, bidders are to clearly express those requirements in their proposal and provide estimated pricing.
