Invitation to bid on mowing the town parks of Murdock and Fairland, Douglas County, Illinois, for a 3-year contract. The parks cover approximately 76,800 sq. ft. in Murdock and 78,500 sq. ft. in Fairland. Bidders must provide a copy of their Liability Insurance to Murdock Township before starting work and must bid on both parks as one contract. The bid should be a single amount for the 3 years; bids per mowing will be rejected. The bidder is responsible for furnishing all the equipment needed to complete the work. Bidders are asked not to mow on Sundays, except during wet weather when mowing may be necessary. During hot, dry summer conditions, mowing may not be required, but weeds may need to be cut to keep parks neat. All mower operators should work safely to protect themselves and bystanders. Additional announcements may be made at the bid opening. Murdock Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids if in the best interest of the township and the bidders.
