The project is for the installation of outdoor LED stadium lighting at the combined track and soccer stadium for the Northern Local School District. Installation of outdoor stadium LED light fixtures, complete with foundations, poles, lighting equipment and all electrical and utility delivery at existing stadium containing multi-lane running track and soccer field (see facility plans below). Installed lighting must be sufficient to permit hosting of practices and contests at night and withstand typical environmental conditions. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond payable to the Northern Local School District Board of Education for the full amount of the sealed bid or a certified check for 10% of the bid amount, as a guarantee that a contract will be entered into and performed if the bid is accepted. Bid documents and specifications will be available at the walk-through. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and will award the contract to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest responsible bid in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 3313.46. The responsibility for timely and appropriate bid submission rests solely with each bidder. Bids submitted by mail must be certified or registered with return receipt requested and properly sealed and clearly marked on the outside with the statement: Track and Soccer Stadium Lighting Project. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty days from the date of the opening of the sealed proposals. Bid documents obtained from any source other than through the specified process do not make the bidder a plan holder of record and will result in a nonresponsive bid.
