Site work for a water / sewer project in Marinette, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are requested for the Sanitary Sewer Replacement project (Project No. 2026-300) for the City of Marinette. The scope of work includes approximately 957 cubic yards of common excavation, 1,550 tons of crushed aggregate base course, 450 tons of HMA pavement, 1,300 square feet of concrete sidewalk and driveway, 1,900 linear feet of sanitary sewer, and 1,600 square yards of lawn restoration. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to 5% of the maximum bid amount. The contract is expected to be partially funded by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Clean Water Fund Program, and is subject to federal requirements including the Build America, Buy America Act and the Davis-Bacon Act wage standards. Absent a waiver, all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials must be produced in the United States. Pre-qualification is required by submitting a Bidder's Proof of Responsibility five days prior to the bid deadline. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and accept the bid most advantageous to the city. Bid documents can be examined at the City of Marinette Engineering Department or obtained from QuestCDN for a non-refundable fee.
