Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Homedale, Idaho. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Contractor to remove the existing steel truss bridge with concrete foundations and replace it with a two-span pre-stressed concrete girder bridge with reinforced concrete abutments on piles and an in-water pier on piles. The road will be closed during construction and traffic will be detoured. Additional work includes roadway approach construction and permitted stream alterations including placing riprap.
