As of May 18, 2026 project was awarded to Lurre Construction Inc., awarded amount is $1,058,016.40 This proposal is for the contractor to remove the existing concrete bridge with concrete foundations and replace it with a single-span pre-stressed concrete voided slab bridge with reinforced concrete abutments. The road will be closed during construction and traffic will be detoured. Additional work includes roadway approach construction and permitted stream alterations including placing riprap. Existing Bridge Key Number 27335 is in Canyon County and carries Weitz Road over West End Drain. The bridge is owned and maintained by HD4 Canyon County and is located approximately 5.4 miles east from the City of Caldwell, Idaho.
