Tree planting and seedling protection services for conifers and native riparian hardwoods during the spring and fall of 2026, including furnishing all supplies, equipment, tools, labor, supervision, transportation, and incidentals required to complete the work as specified. Work includes transporting Government-Furnished Property from storage locations to project sites, providing containers for water transport and seedling dipping, and supplying a refrigerated truck or trailer meeting the specifications in the Statement of Work. Approximately 500,000 seedlings will be planted in spring 2026 across multiple project areas within the Paulina and Lookout Mountain Ranger Districts, including areas burned in the 2024 Crazy Creek, Rail Ridge, and Wiley Flat fires, as well as the Lake Project Area near Walton Lake. Planting includes multiple stock types such as 1-0 bareroot, 2-0 bareroot, and containerized seedlings, with conifer stock consisting of roughly 95 percent ponderosa pine and 5 percent western larch. Riparian species include multiple native hardwoods and vegetation. The scope also includes installing Government-Furnished seedling protections such as shade wickets, flex netting, and rigid mesh tubing as optional items. Multiple planting crews and performance breaks may be required to meet acceptable planting conditions and seedling protection requirements. All work shall comply with licensing and certification requirements for Labor Intensive Service Contract work, including MSPA, BOLI, and H2B documentation as applicable. The period of performance extends from the date of award through December 31, 2026.
