Sealed bids, marked "DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMERS," will be received for work in accordance with the specifications of the City of Geneva. Contractors and subcontractors must pay at least the prevailing wage rates as determined by the Department of Labor or the Court of Appeal, Kane County, to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under the contract. Bidders must provide a signed certification stating they are not barred from bidding due to violations of specified Illinois statutes. The City of Geneva reserves the right to defer acceptance of any proposal for up to 60 days after the bid receipt date and may reject any or all bids and waive technicalities. Bid packages are available for download from the city's website or by contacting the Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator.
