Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Randolph, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and pre-engineered storage facility.
The project consists of multiple additions and renovations at the Randolph Public School campus in Randolph, NE. Work includes a new CTE shop building with interior finishes, a new A/C upgrade at the existing High School Gymnasium, and renovations and addition at the Elementary School, including complete mechanical replacement. Specific trades required span interior demolition, concrete foundations and floors, masonry, miscellaneous and structural steel, rough and finish carpentry, casework, solid surface countertops, insulation, waterproofing, roofing, joint sealants, doors/frames/hardware, overhead and coiling doors, aluminum storefront framing and glazing, window replacement, gypsum drywall, metal stud framing, painting, acoustical ceiling tile, FRP, flooring, tile work, miscellaneous specialties, signage, food service equipment, pre-engineered metal buildings, fire suppression systems, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications, site concrete, site preparation, and miscellaneous utilities. All subcontractor bids containing installation labor must be submitted in a sealed envelope using appropriate bid forms and clearly marked. Bids must include bid security of 5% in the form of an official bid bond or cashier’s check. Awarded contractors must furnish performance and payment bonds or supply bonds. Bids are to be received at specified offices, either hand-delivered or mailed to arrive by deadline. A public bid opening will take place with all bids opened and read aloud. Attendance at a pre-bid walk-through is recommended but not required. All bids must be in accordance with contract and bid documents, and the owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informalities. By submitting a bid, bidders agree to execute the BD Construction Standard Subcontract Agreement if accepted.
