Renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility in Princess Anne, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility.
You are invited to bid on a General Contract for the renovation of an existing pre-engineered metal building located at 30448 Cemetery Lane, Princess Anne, MD 21853. The renovated building will become the new Somerset County EMS Station. The renovation requires the demolition of the current machine shop, storage areas, existing demising wall, metal wall and roof panels, personnel doors, overhead doors, and existing building insulation. The new work will entail creating a new ambulance bay with storage areas, new sectional overhead doors, new personnel doors and a new trench drain. The crew area will consist of new offices, conference room, single use handicap toilet, a living area, dining area, kitchen, large bunk room, a bathroom with shower, and handicap bathroom with shower, and a janitor's closet. The shell of the building will have new insulation metal wall and roof panels, and new gutters and downspouts. Site work will be minimal since but there will be concrete stoops and aprons, and new concrete filled metal bollards. The building will be tied into the town's utilities and new HVAC systems will be installed. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, and incidentals, and shall perform all operations required to completely finish all of the work in the manner approved by the architect. The contractor shall work with the town for staging and storage areas, construction times, field offices, and other concerns the town may have. The right is reserved, as the interests of the Somerset County Commissioners may appear, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bid.
