The Town of Stony Plain is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide effective, efficient, and high-quality interment and maintenance services for the newly constructed municipal Cemetery. The Cemetery is a 22.7 acres facility to be developed in two phases, with construction of Phase 1 (11.9 acres) recently completed. Landscaping and surveying of Phase 1 is expected to be completed by the end of Q2, 2026, and the cemetery will be open to the public for services by the end of Q2, 2026. The Cemetery is designed to accommodate Monument Burial Plot, Flat Marker Burial Plot, Veteran’s Burial Plot, Cremated Remains Plot, Green Burial Plot, Columbarium, and Scattering Garden. The term of the agreement is to be for a period of 5 years, with an option for the Town to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for up to 3 additional years.
