Description

Site work for a mixed-use development in Blythe, California. Completed plans call for site work for a detention facility; and water / sewer project.

The project is to replace two aging wells at Ironwood State Prison by constructing two new potable water wells, designated 1R and 5R, adjacent to two existing out-of-service wells that have been previously abandoned. The new wells will be equipped and connected to the existing raw water transmission line supplying the on-site water treatment plant. Electrical improvements involve replacing motor control centers and transformers, and installing new conduit from the new well sites to the water treatment plant control center building. The scope also includes installation of new pumps, canopies, motors, piping, valves, and electrical and communication connections to the SCADA system.
