The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified consultant to provide engineering services for the Phoenix Goodyear Airport Apron Pavement Reconstruction project. The required services include full design, geotechnical analysis, drainage analysis, and pavement design for the project, with the potential for follow-on construction administration and inspection services. The scope of work includes design level topographic mapping, assessment and adjustment of existing drainage, geotechnical investigations to support the design and confirm utility locations, reconstruction of the concrete apron and required striping, coordination with adjacent development plans for compatibility, and coordination with the CMAR contractor. The consultant should have design experience in active airport operations, familiarity with FAA requirements and Advisory Circulars, and experience in coordinating with airport user groups. Design services must also include provision of a computerized networked office platform with broadband internet connectivity. UNIFIER training will be provided by the City of Phoenix to contracted firms. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements apply. Instructions specify submitting a single electronic Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) in PDF format, up to 12 pages, addressing all evaluation criteria, with specific format and attachment instructions.
