Site work and paving for a road / highway in Foster, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Town of Foster is requesting sealed bids for approximately 1.7 miles of town road, Dickerson Ave. The work consists of supplying and spreading crushed granite 3/4 inch or less road gravel for 1.7 miles, twenty-two feet wide and 4 inches thick, delivered and spread using trucks to ensure a steady flow for grader operation. Materials must meet DOT gradation #3 (DOT 1996 standard specification). The project is to be completed by June 30, 2026. Bid prices should be per ton delivered. Payment will be made within 30 days of completion. Suppliers may be required to provide material sample test results. A certificate of insurance, including workman's comp, must be submitted with quotes or be on file with the town clerk. The board reserves the right to reject any or all quotes and to accept the quote most advantageous to the Town of Foster.
