Selective demolition of existing roundhead and construction of breakwater repair work between approximately Station 18+83 and Station 21+00 and roundhead as detailed in the drawings and in accordance with the specification. Alternate Bid A (Contractor's Option) includes constructing an access road extension to deeper water, approximately Station 22+65 to Station 26+75. Bidders must submit, on company letterhead and signed by an authorized representative, a list of at least three projects completed since January 1, 2020, including dollar amount, type of work, location, owner's name and address, and completion date. They must also submit the name of the quarry being used on company letterhead, signed by an authorized representative. All required TBE-14/DBE-14 forms must be completed and signed by the prime contractor and submitted as indicated. Bidders must submit a completed contractor qualification statement at least five calendar days prior to the bid due date; this statement is valid for three years from the date accepted. A completed Subcontractor-Supplier Information Entry must be submitted with the bid, or the bid may be rejected as non-responsive. A minimum of 10% of the contract labor force must consist of employees residing in Milwaukee County, documented through LCPtracker Labor Compliance software. The Targeted Business Enterprise participation goal is 10 percent. A 10 percent bid bond or certified check is required with the bid. The base bid must remain open for acceptance for 60 days after the bid due date.
