The City of Fort Myers is seeking qualified contractors for the construction of the new Billy Bowlegs community building and adjacent basketball court. The proposed pre-manufactured structure consists of an 8,800 square foot building housing multi-purpose rooms, restrooms, storage, office space, and a concession area. Utilities, lighting, sidewalks, landscape and irrigation are included. PROJECT NO. 218020 The proposed phase will add to the existing sports complex a community building and a basketball court. The old building will be fully demolished and replaced with an 8,000 square foot building with a hydrostatic slab and flood panels. The new structure will consist of CMU walls in combination with a pre-manufactured building. It will house multi-purpose rooms, restrooms, storage, office space, a concession space and open canopies. Surrounding areas will have access sidewalks, lighting, irrigation and landscape.
