The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and services necessary for the construction of approximately 35,000 feet of 8" PVC, 1,100 feet of 6" PVC, 3,575 feet of HDD Boring, 300 feet of Jack Boring, construction of a new Control Building, and other miscellaneous work as outlined in the plans and specifications. Instructions to bidders include: - Bids must be submitted on forms provided and in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the project name and bidder's address. - Bids not prepared or filed as instructed may be rejected. - A bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount is required. - Performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the bid, must be provided upon contract execution. - Facsimile or copies of bonds are not acceptable. - Bids not accompanied by the bond or not in conformance with relevant statutes will not be considered. - Qualified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) are encouraged to bid and good faith effort documentation is required if using DBE subcontractors or suppliers. - Preference is given to certified resident bidders and Wyoming-produced materials as per applicable statutes. - American Iron and Steel requirements, as well as Davis Bacon wage regulations, apply. - Attendance at a pre-bid conference is mandatory.
