ADDENUM 4 has a bid date change that has not been approved by the board. Per engineer once approved will put addendum 4 back on later this week. The proposed fire station will be located at 207 Market Street in Audubon, Iowa, and will consist of a 16,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building. The building is to be sub-divided into a meeting room, kitchen, laundry room, mechanical room, tool room, offices, restrooms, locker rooms, storage mezzanine, and an apparatus bay. Interior wood framing will be used to sub-divide the spaces and create the mezzanine. The exterior façade will consist of pre-finished metal wall panels and a pre-finished standing seam roof. All required site, framing, finishing, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and fire suppression systems are to be included under this contract. Work under this contract will commence upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed, following funding agency concurrence in the construction contract and completion of the preconstruction conference. The work must be substantially complete by the specified date unless extended in accordance with the contract documents. Liquidated damages may be assessed for each calendar day that the work remains unfinished past the substantial completion date. Bids must include bid security as required, and the successful bidder must furnish bonds for 100 percent of the contract price.
