The Town of Clayton (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: 800 Block, E. Main St. Sanitary Sewer Replacement The Project includes the following Work: The Town desires to avail itself of the services of the Contractor in connection with + - removing and replacement of manhole 1124, bypass pumping and removal of manhole 1123, flowable fill sewer main crossing E. Main St. Install (2) new 4" 401 Lined DIP sewer services for 800 & 710 E. Main St. and re-connect to existing service in right of way on property. Mill 2" and pave 25ft each side of trench per NCDOT encroachment agreement. Install new 4' diameter manhole at the intersection of Compton St. & E. Main St. Operation will take place at night due to the location and business being affected. Detour will be required for E. Main St shut down and follow MUTCD handbook. 800 Block, E. Main St. Sanitary Sewer Replacement and the Contractor desires to provide such services. The Project has an expected duration of 20 days.
