Site work for a civil project in Denton, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

The major work will consist of the following: Water Improvements: Approximately 7,050 LF of 8” PVC waterline, 300 LF of 8” ductile iron waterline, respective gate valves, fire hydrants, water services to 209 lots and related work. Sanitary Sewer Improvements: Approximately 7,150 LF of 8” PVC sewer line, 150 LF of 8” ductile iron sewer line, 4” sanitary sewer services to 209 lots, 4' manholes, trench water stops and related work. Drainage Improvements: 21-36” RCP and 4'x3' RBC storm drain systems, curb inlets, headwalls, safety end treatments, junction boxes, stone riprap. The above improvements are part of the plans for the construction of water, sewer, paving, drainage, and street light improvements to serve Lone Star at Liberty Trails Phase 2A as prepared by Pape-Dawson Engineers. Instructions to bidders: Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the District, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within seven days after the date the Contractor is notified. The Developer and Brookfield Water Control and Improvement District of Denton County reserve the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject bids. Both projects will be awarded together to a single bidder. All contractors are required to be prequalified by the City of Fort Worth prior to bid opening. To be eligible to bid, the contractor must submit the Prequalification Statement included in the contract documents for the work type(s) listed with their bid. Any Contractor or Subcontractor who is not prequalified for the work type(s) listed must submit a Bidder Prequalification Application in accordance with the requirements included in the contract documents. Copies of the documents may be obtained and downloaded electronically at no charge by contacting a representative of the District Engineer. Any Contract awarded under this invitation is expected to be funded from revenues generated from Developer funds and District Bonds and dedicated by the District to the work under this invitation to bidders. Pre-qualification requirements: All contractors are required to be prequalified by the City of Fort Worth prior to bid opening. To be eligible to bid the contractor must submit the Prequalification Statement included in the contract documents for the work type(s) listed with their bid. Any Contractor or Subcontractor who is not prequalified for the work type(s) listed must submit a Bidder Prequalification Application in accordance with the requirements included in the contract documents.
