The work is for furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment, supervision, etc. for pavement marking of bridge deck and roadways, Project No. 439, in accordance with the plans and specifications. Bids may be submitted by an individual, corporation, partnership, limited partnership, L.L.C., joint venture, or L.L.P. All bids must be in accordance with the contract documents on file. All bids shall be accompanied by a corporate resolution or written evidence of the authority of the person signing the bid as required by law. Failure to provide such evidence will result in bid rejection. The contract documents, including plans and specifications, may be examined at the administrative offices. Prime bidders must obtain an original set of bidding documents from the design professional who prepared them. The design professional of record maintains a list of all prime bidders for addenda distribution. If drawings and specifications are not obtained directly from the specified office, responsibility for addenda receipt is not assumed. A certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each bid. Bidders must have a contractor's license in the required classification. Bids exceeding $50,000 must include certification of an active license with the license number indicated on the envelope and bid form. Bidders must certify their intent to comply with the Firearms Entity Special Provisions. The commission reserves the right to reject all bids with just cause, waive informalities, and reject nonconforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids.
