Sealed bids will be received for Hurricane Ida Damage Repairs at Metairie Academy for Advanced Studies, Project No. 2025-23. Bids must be submitted to the Facilities Department for the Jefferson Parish School Board at 4600 River Road, Administration Annex, 1st Floor, Marrero, LA 70072, by 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. No bids may be withdrawn for at least thirty days after the closing time. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive all informalities. Plans, specifications, and information are available from Studio West Design & Architecture, LLC., for a deposit or non-refundable fee, with conditions for refunds on returned documents. A pre-bid meeting will be held at Metairie Academy for Advanced Studies for bidders to review the job scope and site conditions. Sealed proposals must be clearly marked with the bidder's name, address, telephone number, State License Number (if bid exceeds $50,000.00), and the statement identifying the proposal by project name and number. Bids may be submitted electronically as well. Participation by minority and female-owned businesses, and businesses located in this Parish, is encouraged. The project is classified as Commercial General Construction. The Project consists of the renovation of an existing elementary school building to repair damage from Hurricane Ida, primarily from wind driven rain. Project includes the replacement of the main building roof.
