Sealed bids will be received for Hurricane Ida Damage Repairs at Dolhonde Elementary School (Currently Moscona School), Project No. 2025-19. The architect/engineer has classified this project as Commercial General Construction. Plans and specifications and other information may be secured from the architect/engineer Studio West Design & Architecture, LLC., for a deposit of $200.00 per set for a hard copy and/or a non-refundable fee of $25.00 for an electronic set on compact disk. The full deposit of one set of documents will be refunded to each General Contractor. For additional sets of documents and for documents issued to subcontractors or material suppliers the cost for reproduction of each set will be deducted from the deposit and the balance refunded. Refunds will only be made for documents returned to the architect/engineer within ten (10) days after the opening of bids. Refunds will only be made on documents returned complete, in good condition and unmarked. A pre-bid meeting will be held at Moscona School to allow prospective bidders to review the job scope and site conditions. Sealed proposals shall be marked on the envelope cover, plainly and prominently with: a) bidder's name, address and telephone number b) State License Number of Contractor if the bid is in excess of $50,000.00 and c) the statement "Proposal for (project name and number)." Bidders have the option to submit bids electronically in accordance with Louisiana Revised Statute 38:2212 E (1). Participation by minority and female-owned businesses, as well as businesses located in this Parish, is encouraged. Question Deadline 05/05/2026 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of Bid Documents shall make a written request to the Architect to reach him at least seven (7) days prior to the date and time of receipt of bids. The Project consists of the renovation of an existing elementary school campus consisting of multiple buildings to repair damage from Hurricane Ida, primarily from wind-driven rain. Scope of work includes finish repair, replacment and partial replacement of existing metal roofing at the primary building, and exterior finishes replacement and repair at existing modular buildings.
