Site work for a mixed-use development in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The FVRD requires an experienced contractor to resurface 1,800m of existing trail and construct 100m of new trail that weaves throughout the dog off-leash park and along the riverside trail at Island 22 Regional Park (Schedule E). The purpose of the project is to restore the existing trails within the two areas as well as adding improved connectivity and access. The services required include the following: Resurfacing of an estimated 1,800m of existing gravel trail and construction of 100m of new trail Trail specifications: Resurface 500m of 2.5m trail with crusher dust using the existing subbase tread (Schedule B) Resurface 1300m of 3m trail with crusher dust using the existing subbase tread (Schedule C) Construct 70m of 3m riverside trail with crusher dust using ¾” minus as subbase tread (Schedule D) Construct 30m of 2.5m dog off-leash trail with crusher dust using ¾” minus as subbase tread (Schedule D) All trails will have a 6” depth following compaction Removal and disposal of any and all vegetation or spoil off-site Question Deadline 03/17/2026 at 1:00 PM PT
