Barton Malow Builders requests Bid Proposals on behalf of Lapeer Community Schools for the construction of BP7.3 DW Drinking Fountain Replacement for Bid Package #7.3 work under Bid Category: 22 0000 Plumbing. Proposals shall be based on requirements set forth in the Barton Malow Builders project manual and Filter First Guidelines provided by Lapeer Community Schools and project drawing. Accepted Bidders must furnish satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond and Certificates of Insurance. The project is subject to state sales and/or use taxes and prevailing wage rates. Bid Proposals must be on forms furnished by Barton Malow Builders and submitted according to specified instructions. Bidders may be required to pre-qualify and must submit a bid security of 5% of the base bid. Bidders with an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) greater than 1.0 may not be considered. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract on the AIA Document A132-2019 Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Contractor, Construction Manager as Advisor Edition. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
