Site work and paving for a road / highway in Southbridge, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Southbridge is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for Road Improvements to the North Street Area in Southbridge. The Contractor must provide a reasonable schedule for the start and completion of the work to be approved by the DPW Director and/or Project Manager. All work associated with the CDBG must be completed by June 30, 2026. The successful Contractor will supply all materials, labor, and equipment required to perform the project according to MassDOT specifications. All proposals must be clearly marked "Bid - North St Area Road Improvements" and mailed or hand delivered to the Office of the Town Manager at 41 Elm St, Southbridge, MA 01550. One original bid shall be submitted. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. Bidders mailing their bids are encouraged to plan for early delivery to avoid disqualification due to delays. A pre-construction meeting will be held to review the project and requirements. Addenda, if required, will be emailed to anyone who requests bid documents. Questions regarding the bid should be sent to the DPW Project Manager, Butch Jackson, at vjackson@southbridgemass.org
