Renovation of a mixed-use development in Southbridge, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,000-square-foot educational facility.
As of May 22, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Southbridge Public Schools is seeking quotes from qualified contractors for a Flooring Project at Charlton Street School. Scope of Work: - Removal and disposal of existing VCT flooring and vinyl cove base; - Floor preparation including cleaning, patching, and leveling; - Installation of approximately 3,000 sq. ft. of Mannington Color Anchor Groove LVT flooring; - Installation of walk-off carpet at designated entry points; - Installation of new vinyl cove base throughout; - Installation of transitions to adjacent areas; and - Complete cleanup and project closeout. Special Requirements: - Prevailing wage rates apply; - OSHA certification required; and - 50% payment bond if exceeds $25,000. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
