Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Nederland, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Cost Range: $5,500,000 - $6,000,000 Sealed bids, in duplicate, are requested for construction of the Atlantic Canal Crossing Improvements at ETP Tank Site in Nederland, Texas for the Lower Neches Valley Authority. The work generally consists of installing two (2) 10' x 6' box culverts and constructing a concrete check structure and concrete headwall. The base bid design includes installation of two (2) 10' x 6' pre-cast box culverts with a 6-inch thick reinforced concrete support slab. An alternate bid design consists of construction of a dual cast-in-place 10' x 6' box culvert with a 3-inch thick concrete seal slab. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis. Bid security is required according to the Instructions to Bidders. Complete sets of bidding documents must be used for preparing bids; no responsibility is assumed for errors resulting from incomplete sets. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Owner in writing online. Questions received after 2nd April 2026 may not be answered. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
