**As of April 24th, 2026, this project has been awarded to N. F. Mansuetto at $1,786,575. ** Three sealed bids will be received for each of the three roof projects for the Tallmadge, Ellet, and Nordonia Hills branches of the Akron-Summit County Public Library. The project includes furnishing and/or installing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals required to perform all work outlined in the project manual. This includes, but is not limited to, replacing the roof systems, roof decks, all sheet metal components, masonry repairs, window/door replacement, razing screens, painting steel, attic ventilation, and EIFS replacement, as designed for the three branches. Bids must be submitted on forms (or copies thereof) furnished with the bid documents and in accordance with the plans and specifications. Copies of plans and specifications may be obtained by bidders or other interested parties for a $150.00 non-refundable fee. The plans and specifications may be reserved for pick-up at the pre-bid meeting or picked up at the office of Construction Resources, Inc. All sealed bids must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope as appropriate for the bid being made and must be delivered to the Welcome Desk at the High Street Entrance of the Akron-Summit County Public Library. Bids received after the designated time will be returned unopened. The Library reserves the right to reject any and all bids, any part or parts of any bid, and to waive any informalities in the bid.
