Site work for a transportation facility in South Bend, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
Work for which proposals are to be received is for the Runway 18 object free area fence relocation project package 2 which is fence installation and removal and necessary incidentals to complete the work as detailed on the Contract Drawings and specified in the Contract Documents titled Runway 18 Object Free Area Fence Relocation. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and material necessary to complete the work. All work is located at the South Bend International Airport, 4477 Progress Drive, South Bend, IN 46628. Bidders are required to be a plan holder of record having obtained the contract documents through the office of the Engineer. No Bidders may withdraw their proposal within a period of thirty (30) days following the date set for the receiving of bids. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price will be required. The Bidders must supply all the information required by the bid or proposal form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any formalities in the bidding procedure. Question Deadline 03/24/2026 A bidder that has doubt as to the true meaning of a project requirement may submit to the Owner Engineer a written request for interpretation no later than 2 days prior to bid opening.
