Bids must be signed and accompanied by the required securities and submitted on forms furnished by the District. Contractors must hold a valid California type A, B, or C12 license or equivalent, and have current registration with the CA Department of Industrial Relations. All workers must be paid not less than the specified prevailing wage rates. Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation is sought. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and judge the merit, quality, and compliance of labor and materials to plans and specifications. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to see that his bid is received in proper time by the Purchasing Office, 20 W. Lugonia Ave., Redlands, CA 92374. Any bid received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will be returned to the bidder unopened. The work under this Contract includes furnishing of all labor, materials, services except as specifically excluded, which is required for completion of the Project in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents. All construction shall be complete as indicated in the contract documents. The general scope of the work shall include but not be limited to: .1 Removal and replacement of concrete walks in accordance to Title 24 compliance. .2 Removal and replacement of driveway approach in accordance to local control (city permit) at Victoria Elementary school. .3 Replacement of tree rings where designated for each school site involved. .4 Removal and replacement of water lines at designated school sites. Note: All trees will be removed prior to the start of removal and replacement of listed concrete repairs. Tree stumps and roots within the area of concrete repair are to be removed by the contractor.
