Site work for a water / sewer project in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Improvements to the existing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) network for the Board of Water Works Trustees of the City of Des Moines, Iowa. The work includes implementing a new backbone network featuring an IT/OT Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) based on the Purdue Model as recommended by ISA-62443. The project will be completed at three sites. Site 1 will host the DMZ, an isolated development, and a testing and training environment as specified. All three sites will receive standardized equipment for their network and server infrastructure, according to project specifications. Site 2 and 3 will each have rack-mounted uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), while Site 1 will use existing UPS infrastructure. Network connections between sites will utilize existing fiber and infrastructure. The work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for these improvements.
