The City of Cathedral City requests proposals from qualified professional engineering consultants, licensed in the State of California, to provide professional engineering design services for one or multiple Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) Cycle 12 Projects. The selected Consultant(s) will be responsible for preparing all improvement plans, preliminary and final cost estimates, and project specifications for the projects, which include three pedestrian crossing enhancements and six pedestrian crossing installations. Consultant companies must submit proposals in accordance with the requirements set forth, and multiple factors identified in the RFQ/P will be considered for evaluation. Price is not evaluated as part of the criteria. The City may enter agreements with one or multiple consultants and reserves the right to negotiate contract terms. Selected consultants must comply with all insurance and license requirements. Proposals must be received by the stated deadline, with no telegraphic or telephonic proposals accepted. Proposals must remain valid for 60 calendar days from the due date.
