Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Elsie, Michigan. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
The project consists of installation of new kitchen equipment and improvements to kitchen serving areas at Ovid-Elsie High School. The contract is based on a lump sum (fixed price, stipulated sum), and the successful General Contractor will be fully responsible for coordination of all required work between all trades. The scope includes all labor, materials, and permits necessary to complete construction as indicated in the provided construction documents and specifications. Proposals must be mailed or delivered in person in sealed envelopes, plainly labeled with the project name, and must be received prior to the specified bid date and time. Bid security of no less than 5 percent of the bid amount, in the form of a bid bond or certified/cashier's check, must accompany each bid. The cost of Performance and Labor and Material Bonds covering 100% of the project value must be indicated on the proposal form, but not included in the base bid. Applicable Michigan use and sales tax apply, and prevailing wages are required. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities.
