Sealed proposals from General Contractors are requested for the construction of the S.H.I.E.L.D. System for East Coweta High School and Northgate High School. Proposal forms and construction documents can be examined at Southern A & E's office or accessed online by request. Questions about the Contract Documents should be submitted in writing. Proposals must include the completed Competitive Sealed Proposal Form, signed Bid Form, Bid Bond, Contractor Affidavit and Agreement (demonstrating compliance with the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act), and affidavits demonstrating compliance with verification of lawful presence within the United States using the SAVE program. A bid bond of five percent of the base bid is required and must be submitted with the bid. Performance and payment bonds in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract sum will be required prior to commencement. The Owner reserves the right to waive technicalities and irregularities and to reject any or all proposals.
