The Town of Johnson is seeking bids from interested individuals or firms for the Skatepark Improvement and Renovation Project, which is part of the Municipal Skate Park located at 178 Wescom Road, Johnson, Vermont. The objective of the project is to add a concrete Flat-Bottom Bowl with additional features to the existing skatepark. Bids are due by April 2, 2026. Instructions indicate that the full Request for Proposal may be viewed at the Town of Johnson, Vermont website under the News and Notices tab. Questions should be directed to the Town Administrator. Concrete & Site Work: The new concrete flat-bottom bowl will have sloped grass berms and a short path on the southeast end to connect with an existing asphalt skating area. The overall project area is expected to be approximately 5,159 square feet. Sketches on pages 4-5 show the site and a list of the bowl's skate features. Material for berms can be harvested from the central meadow located within the park and owned by the Town of Johnson. Additional sitework compliance details are available from the Town Administrator. All work and cleanup must be completed by June 30, 2026.
