The Town of Johnson requests proposals from qualified Cemetery and Monument contractors to provide Monument Maintenance services for the Town of Johnson. Contractors are expected to repair and upright monuments that are broken, fallen, or tipped, repair bases of monuments that have broken, deteriorated, or sunken, and clean monuments with a town-approved product to ensure the safety of all stone materials. Contractors must maintain General Liability Insurance, Workers Compensation Insurance, and business equipment insurance, and furnish proof of such policies. The Town owns and maintains four cemeteries: Whiting-Hill Cemetery, Evergreen Ledge Cemetery, Plot Cemetery, and Grow Cemetery. If a contractor has not already been employed by the Town, the proposal must include a minimum of three professional references.
