South Suburban Parks and Recreation District is requesting proposals from landscape maintenance firms for the performance of mowing services within designated areas of the District. The areas to be mowed are the Big Dry Creek Trail, Columbine Trail and Wynetka Park, Little Dry Creek Trail, Walnut Hills, Willow Creek Trail, Highline Canal Trail, Lee Gulch Trail, Littleton Community Trail, Kimmer Park, Wildcat Ridge, Province/Kline Homestead, and Trailmark neighborhood. Specified areas for each site need to be mowed, including both sides of the trail where there is native vegetation. One mow width is required on trail edges and fence lines. All signs, fences, and benches next to the trail need to be trimmed around. Proposals must be emailed to Seth Swanson at sswanson@ssprd.org by 6:00 p.m. local time March 20, 2026. Proposals received after this time will not be accepted or considered. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any irregularities or informalities.
