Sealed bids will be received for Type HP (High Performance) Cold Mix for patching, for use on parish roads. Cold mix is to be delivered and stockpiled at the specified location, with an alternate option for cold mix to be picked up by parish trucks. Bids are to be accepted on a price per ton basis only for a period of one year. Freight charges, if applicable, must be included in the total unit price and may be rejected if not quoted Freight on Board (FOB) delivered or if freight charges are not indicated on bid forms. Wherever specific brands, makes, manufacturers, or definite specifications are used, they are only to denote quality standards; equivalent products will be accepted. The Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to disqualify any bid if the submitting business entity is not in good standing or authorized to do business in Louisiana and reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Specification and bidding documents are available from the Purchasing Department or online. Electronic bids are accepted via Central Bidding.
