The Contractor shall supply all materials, labour and equipment required for construction of the Works described herein and as indicated on the drawings. The Contractor shall make every effort to minimize disturbance to the general public as a result of operations and organize work so that general surface restoration procedures are maintained closely behind excavation, pipe installation, and backfilling operations. Existing paved driveways and roadways shall be repaired to match existing type and thickness (minimum 50 mm to a maximum of 75 mm). Existing grassed areas on rights-of-way or boulevards shall be restored as closely as practicable to their original location and condition. Existing fences, shrubbery, ornamental trees, etc., on rights-of-way shall be restored by the Contractor as closely as practicable to their original location and condition. All of the above restoration by the Contractor shall be considered incidental to the work, and no additional payment will be made for the same.
