Renovation of an educational facility in New Orleans, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade educational facility.

Work required under this Section consists of all demolition required necessary to complete the work indicated on drawings, project manual, and/or described in these Specifications. Without restricting volume or generality of above, work to be performed under this section shall include, but is not limited to the following 02050 - Demolition 1. Selective interior demolition work as called for on the drawings and which can be reasonable inferred from the Contract Documents as necessary for completion of the job. 2. Protect existing improvements, which are to remain. Repair any damage done to improvements, which are to remain. 3. Except for items or materials indicated to be reused, salvaged, or otherwise indicated to remain the property of LSU Health, demolished materials shall become the Contractor's property and shall be removed from the site with further disposition at the Contractor's option. 4. Submit proposed methods and operations of demolition to the Construction Coordinator for review prior to start of work. 5. It is the Contractor's responsibility to record, photograph, or videotape, sufficiently and in detail, any and all existing conditions of adjoining construction and site improvements that might otherwise be misconstrued as damage caused by demolition operations. If any person contemplating submitting a bid is in doubt of the meaning of any part of the specifications, plans or other proposed contract documents and/or desired approval of "or equal" products, they may submit to Michael Williams e-mail at MWIL34@LSUHSC.EDU or fax to 504-717-2901 a written request for an interpretation or prior approval not later than NOON on Thursday, March 5, 2026. Sealed proposals are invited for the AHSON 8th & 9th Floor AHU Equipment Installation. Bids will be received by the Purchasing Department at LSU Health Sciences Center, 433 Bolivar Street, Room 623, New Orleans, LA 70112 until the indicated time and date, when they will be publicly opened and read. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held for all suppliers. Bids must be submitted in accordance with specifications available from the Purchasing Department. All inquiries and requests for specifications are to be addressed via email. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities.
