The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. Removal and replacement of the existing steel deck barges at the Algiers Ferry Terminal and the Lower Algiers Ferry Terminal, and associated utility connections and improvements. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single primecontract. Project Location Algiers Ferry Terminal and Lower Algiers Ferry Terminal, 7320 Patterson St The Regional Transit Authority (RTA) invites qualified vendors to provide bids for fabrication of two ferry barges, one at Algiers Point and the other at Lower Algiers, per drawings and specifications in IFB 2026-007. Specifications, drawings, and further information may be obtained from the RTA's Procureware website. Bids must be submitted through the RTA's Procureware. The RTA is committed to ensuring nondiscrimination of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations concerning DBEs on publicly funded projects. No specific DBE goal has been established for this project. The RTA reserves the right to accept or reject any and all submittals. QA Deadline changed to 3/26/2026 2:00 PM as per site.
