Reference Number 0000415026 27J Schools is pleased to invite your company to submit a proposal to provide Modular's Roof Replacement services, as described in the attached documents. The District is committed to maintaining safe, compliant facilities for students, staff, and the community. Services will be performed at Prairie View High School Your submittal must contain the following items : 1. A completed Schedule of Prices, which includes all costs for labor, material, equipment, supervision, tools, insurance or any other costs necessary to perform the work . 2. A quality control plan, proof of insurance, and company licenses /certifications. 3.Disclosure of cooperative purchasing participation (such as OMNIA Partners or Sourcewell ), if applicable. 4. Vendor Setup Packet (including W-9, PERA disclosure, and acknowledgment of District Terms & Conditions. 5. The job should start on June 5th and be physically completed by June 30th to comply with the 27J Schools fiscal deadline . Answers and any clarifications or updates will be shared with all known proposers. General This project includes the replacement of six (6) existing modular roofs . The contractor shall provide all labor , materials , equipment , and supervision necessary to replace modular roofs at the locations listed in Attachment B - Site Plan . All work must be performed during regular working hours unless otherwise approved by Tim Cantu . All RFIs (Requests for Information ) and change orders must be submitted in writing by the contractor and approved by 27J . Only the Project Manager is authorized to approve changes in writing . A laydown area for material storage will be designated prior to the start of work Materials must remain within the designated area . Stored materials must be kept to a minimum . Materials must be organized and stored safely . Shingle Removal and Disposal 1. Contractor is responsible for disposal of all removed roofing materials off -site in accordance with State and local codes . 2. Safely remove all downspouts and gutters to reinstall , using new hangers and hardware if needed . 3. Remove all existing three -tab shingles down to the roof deck . New Roofing Installation 4. Inspect for minor repairs of existing decking to ensure solid foundation . Cover and seal all turtle vent holes . Underlayment Installation 5. Premium synthetic felt underlayment installation for moisture protection Ice and water shield 6. Installation of Ice and water shield in valley , around roof penetrations , and along all eves for leak protection . Drip edge Installation 7. New aluminum drip edge installation on all roof perimeters for water runoff and fascia protection . Ventilation and Pipe Accessories 8 Installation of new ridge ventilation system for attic airflow . 9 Replace and seal all pipe jacks . Split boots are not acceptable . Safety and Project Management 10 Provide a full time on site Project Manager to ensureproject adherenceand quality Cleanup and Final Inspection 11 Site clean up to include removal of all nails and debris The job should start on June 5th and be physically completed by June 30th to comply with the 27J Schools fiscal deadline.
