Renovation of a mixed-use development in Picayune, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. This project includes reroofing of Picayune High School Auditorium and all associated flashings including new roof drains. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under one contract. Reroofing of the existing auditorium at Picayune High School with a retrofit roof system, TPO, including new roof drains. Sealed lump sum bids are to be submitted in duplicate on the provided blank proposal forms and must include Proposal Security in the form of a Certified Check or acceptable Bid Bond in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. Proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope marked with the project name, opening date and time, and the bidder's company information, including name, address, and all applicable state and local license and registration numbers. Electronic bids may also be submitted through the specified website. Bids must be prepared in compliance with the provided Instructions to Bidders. No bids may be withdrawn for 90 days after the opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. All plan holders must register and purchase bid documents through the specified website. Bid Documents will only be issued as entire sets. Bid Result Base Bid A - R and R Sheet Metal, Inc - 114,000 Base Bid B - R and R Sheet Metal, Inc - 109000 The successful bidder must be properly licensed and able to obtain the required insurance and bonds. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to the Owner will be required of the successful bidder. Work must begin upon receipt of Notice to Proceed and reach Substantial Completion by the specified deadline, with liquidated damages assessed for late completion.
